KIM research group at HfG has received the \u201cCorona Crisis & Beyond\u201d\u00a0grant (endowed with 125.000 EUR) by Volkswagen Stiftung\u00a0within the framework of the \u201cAI and the Society of the Future\u201d program.<\/p>\n

PhD students of HfG Karlsruhe and partner universities are invited to apply and investigate\u00a0the role of\u00a0AI models\u00a0<\/strong>and knowledge models in general in predicting and mitigating the\u00a0COVID-19 pandemic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The research projects will focus on the fields of\u00a0contact-tracing apps, global\u00a0logistics, on-line\u00a0education and humanitarianism, resulting in four publications and a symposium on the\u00a0trustworthiness and in\/stability of modeling techniques.<\/p>\n
